The Role

We are looking for an experienced Scheduler/Planner to join our team. As an Operational Coordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching Service & Maintenance Engineers to complete corrective and preventative maintenance visits.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Efficiently schedule and dispatch Service & Maintenance Engineers on behalf of Marlowe Fire and Security to complete corrective and preventative maintenance visits in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
  2. Proactively monitor engineers activity to ensure that you touch base with all your engineers daily, ensuring early dispatch & attendance of first job & monitor throughout the day to ensure job completion.
  3. Build and maintain good working relationships with your Engineers, Stores/Supply Chain Department & Regional Service Manager (RSM) to ensure all calls are actioned accordingly
  4. Work closely with your manager and support your assigned Regional Service Manager (RSM) to meet customer expectations.
  5. Liaise with key clients over the phone to enhance both internal & external working relationships
  6. Completing the Regional Schedulers checklist on a daily, weekly & monthly basis maintaining an audit trail of this activity for yourself & your regional scheduler. Sharing weekly data with RSM
  7. Monitor Scheduling Portal (Cash4Windows) to ensure real time visibility of your engineers, highlighting any anomalies to your RSM.
  8. Retrieve all phone and email messages and process accordingly within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  9. Processing of orders to ensure all work is carried out in time to allow invoice to be created.

Your Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 2 years experience in a Scheduling / Planning / Coordinating role.
  • Experience of Scheduling Field based colleagues, such as Engineers would be an ideal background, however, other similar industry experience would definitely be considered and welcomed
  • Familiarity of using in house and external systems and databases – Cash4Windows (C4W) would be a significant advantage, but not mandatory
  • Proactive approach to management of workload.
  • Clear communicator with good telephone manner with colleagues and customers
