Care Professional - Autism Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Professional to join our team and support a young man with autism in exploring his community and promoting social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the client to various locations safely and reliably.
  • Assist the client during visits to shops, restaurants, parks, and other places of interest.
  • Encourage the client to try new experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure client comfort and understanding.
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and supportive demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and Class A Business Insurance.
  • Understanding of autism and ability to provide tailored support.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: £12.00 (weekdays), £13.00 (weekends).
  • Mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile.
