Job Title: Senior Business Support Analyst

We are seeking a talented healthcare analyst to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Senior Business Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing operational and clinical colleagues with the information required to inform key decisions for operational planning and administering patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake analysis on internal and external datasets to provide insights and recommendations for operational planning and patient care.
  • Develop online reporting platforms using Power BI and SSRS to support data-driven decision making.
  • Provide a range of reports and returns, as well as respond to ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or hold equivalent experience within an information or performance-related role.
  • Evidence of continuous development and a proven track record in specialist information provision and analysis.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft SQL to query data and design reports, with advanced MS Excel skills and experience of data management, analysis, and interpretation within the NHS.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in an acute NHS trust, with experience of supervising staff and using Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to monitor processes.
  • Presentation and teaching ability, with experience of Microsoft reporting tools - Power BI / SSRS.
