Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Join our team at Willow Resourcing Limited as a Senior Finance Manager, where you will play a key role in shaping the financial crime compliance strategy for our Residential Mortgages, BTL and Bridging Finance provider.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead our Financial Crime Compliance function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Financial Crime and Compliance strategy, working closely with our Compliance Director to ensure our approach to Financial Crime Risk Management is effective and aligned with industry best practices.

You will assess and benchmark the effectiveness of our AML and Fraud controls, monitoring regulatory changes and updating our company policies accordingly. Additionally, you will be responsible for building a CDD approach into our Operations team, conducting ongoing risk assessments to identify potential Financial Crime threats and ensuring effective Financial Crime Risk monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Financial Crime and Compliance strategy in conjunction with the Compliance Director
  • Assess and benchmark the effectiveness of AML and Fraud controls against regulations, legislation and industry best practices
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update company policies accordingly
  • Build a CDD approach into the Operations team
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify potential Financial Crime threats
  • Ensure effective Financial Crime Risk monitoring and reporting
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager with a strong background in Financial Crime and Compliance. You will have broad AML / CTF experience, including Source of Funds, Source of Wealth, Sanctions, PEPs, SARs reporting, etc. You will also have strong experience in a senior Financial Crime role within the long-term lending arena, such as mortgages, BTL, bridging finance, asset finance, asset-based lending etc.
