Aviation Maintenance Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our Structures (C20) team at Ryanair. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Organize Manpower: Lead and manage a team of technicians and mechanics to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Repair and Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Task Allocation and Management: Allocate tasks to team members and manage the workflow to ensure that all work is completed on time.
- Spares Management: Order and manage spares and materials to ensure that all necessary parts are available for repairs and maintenance.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all documentation is completed correctly and in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all company regulations and policies are enforced and followed by team members.
- Work Area Maintenance: Ensure that the work area is clean and tidy at all times, and that all equipment and tools are properly maintained.
- Staff Development: Develop the skills of all team members, including apprentices and trainee mechanics.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any additional tasks allocated by management.
- SRM Structural Repair Experience: Essential experience in SRM structural repair.
- MRO Structural Repair Environment: Preferably experienced in MRO structural repair workshop/hangar environment.
- Inspecting Components and Work Packs: Experience in inspecting components and compiling work packs.
- Company CRS Approval: Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval.
- Supervisory Experience: Previous experience of supervising/managing manpower is essential.
- Training and Development: Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel.
- Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Flexibility: Willing to work shifts (including nights) and flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
