Theatre Inventory Coordinator

The Theatre Scan4Safety Operative will play a crucial role in supporting the Theatres Scan4Safety Coordinator in ensuring the smooth operation of theatre departments across Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. This position will involve communicating with various departments and companies to procure and receive sterile supplies, stores, and equipment, thereby facilitating the efficient running of operating lists.
Main Responsibilities- Manage theatre stock, including ordering using barcoding technology to agreed top-up levels and putting away stock.
- Perform ad-hoc ordering as required.
- Support the management of instruments within theatres, including those requiring repair.
- Process receipts of orders.
- Arrange loan kit requirements.
- Collaborate closely with theatre teams to ensure stock coverage.
- Engage in cross-site working as necessary.

Key Requirements- Hold an ODS Level 2 qualification.
- Be willing to undergo training as required.
- Possess GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English.
- IT skills, including ECDL.
- Significant theatre experience.
- Stores management experience.
