Theatre Inventory Coordinator

About the Role
The Theatre Scan4Safety Operative will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of our theatres, working closely with the Theatres Scan4Safety Coordinator to ensure the efficient management of sterile supplies, stores, and equipment.
Key responsibilities include communicating with other departments and companies to order and receive necessary items, assisting with data input, and undertaking general office work.
The successful candidate will also support the provision of the Scan for Safety (S4S) program, with responsibilities related to the deployment, administration, and support of the Trust's elected Electronic Inventory Management (IM) and Point of Care (POC) system.
This is a cross-site role with the potential for 7-day working, and both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Main Duties
- Management of stock within Theatres, including ordering using barcoding technology to agreed top-up levels, and putting away of stock.
- Ad-hoc ordering as required.
- Supporting the management of instruments within Theatres, including those requiring repair.
- Receipting of orders.
- Arrangement of loan kit requirements.
- Cross-site working as required.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have significant Theatre experience and be willing to undergo training as required. IT skills, including ECDL, are desirable, as is stores management experience.
