About the Role

MTrec Technical is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the problem-solving aspect of the HSE function within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery and maintenance of the following management system aspects:
    • Incident reporting
    • Fire prevention
    • COSHH
    • Asbestos management
    • Manual handling control
    • LOLER (third party inspections, servicing and examinations)
    • Internal audits
    • PUWER (third party inspections, servicing and examinations)
    • Legionella control
    • Continual improvement projects
    • Contractor management (safety)
    • Health and safety inductions
    • Health and safety toolbox talks
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of actively identifying HSE issues and then working them through to a successful conclusion.
  • Must be able to manage time and workload.
  • Experience of environmental, health and safety management in a similar organization.
  • Internal auditing experience.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legal obligations.
  • Risk Assessment experience.
  • NEBOSH Certificate minimum.
  • IOSH Membership (desirable).
