About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to join our Strategic Sales team in the UK. As a Major Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving mutually successful partnerships with allocated accounts, developing and maintaining relationships with senior-level management at customer organizations, and identifying new business opportunities.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop and implement tactical plans to deliver company goals. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies with market indicators and future direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior-level management at customer organizations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed set targets, including customer engagement, opportunity generation, funnel management, sales growth, and portfolio development.
  • Achieve a minimum of 10 customer visits per week.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the biotech industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience in a similar role are required.
