The Opportunity:

A challenging role has become available for a Laboratory Operations Specialist - GMP Compliance, to join our team in Macclesfield.

This is a full-time, permanent position that involves proactively delivering GRS inbox management, reference standards and archiving support, managing workload and service levels.

75% of your time will be spent desk-based completing vital documentation, while the remaining 25% will involve supporting laboratory operations.

You will join the Quality Assurance Department, a close-knit team of five associates, and have a strong sense of teamwork, supporting each other.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Operations Specialist - GMP Compliance with a proven track record in laboratory work and awareness of Good Manufacture Practice (GMP) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock management and inventory control
  • Acting as point of contact for customers, actively engaging with them on a regular basis to understand their business requirements, and providing updates
  • Assisting with reference standard management and archiving
  • Maintaining records for equipment servicing and routine preparation according to GMP regulations
  • Data entry using MS Office, including Excel

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
