Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead our Decommissioning of Legacy Applications project. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, with experience in decommissioning software applications and stakeholder management.

About the Role
This is a 3-month project, with the possibility of extension, requiring a highly skilled individual with expertise in project management, particularly in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Prince2 methodology and experience in leading ICT supported projects with budgets over £100,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the decommissioning of legacy applications replaced by the new HSC Epic system.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate good understanding of decommissioning software applications and technology delivery in HSCNI.


Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a project management role within a major organisation, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Qualifications: A university degree or professional qualification in a relevant field.
  • Skills: Proven experience in leading ICT supported projects with budgets over £100,000, using a project methodology such as Prince2.
