Technical Sales Specialist - Metrology Inspection

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Mase Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our sales and technical team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with industrial clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend industry exhibitions and events to build market knowledge and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the Formula 1, Aerospace, and Engineering sectors
  • Present and demonstrate our instruments to Quality & Inspection departments, highlighting their features and benefits
  • Secure sales of instruments with a value of £5K to £50K, with a typical sales cycle time of 1 to 6 months
  • Cover the northern region of the UK, spending an average of 3-4 nights per month away from home
  • Build lasting relationships with Process Engineers, Engineering Managers, Quality Managers, and Procurement teams
Requirements:
  • Technical sales or field applications experience dealing with industrial clients, preferably in Engineering, Formula 1, or Aerospace
  • Product experience in metrology, non-contact measurement, optical imaging, microscopy, photonics, spectroscopy, nanotechnology, motion control, CMMs, materials characterisation, materials testing equipment, vision inspection, hardness testers, linear bearings, motors, or high-precision optical encoders would be highly advantageous
  • Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biophysics, Biological Sciences), or affiliated would be advantageous, but not essential if you possess proven success within a technical sales capacity
