About the Role

The Actuary Group is seeking a highly skilled Pension Risk Transfer Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Transfer team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated actuarial solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement actuarial models to analyze complex pension scheme data and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and meet client expectations.
  • Conduct actuarial analysis, including complex calculations and research to inform market trends and assumptions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance client delivery and proposition.
  • Represent The Actuary Group in the pension industry, providing expert views on current topics and trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue generation.
Requirements
  • Part-qualified to senior actuary level with experience working with DB pension schemes.
  • Strong technical actuarial fundamentals and business acumen.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think laterally and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and experience with actuarial/modelling tools.
