Job Description

Scottish Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Reporting and MI Lead to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Portfolio Plan in the Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system Wrike, consulting with Project Managers on best practice, and tracking and reporting benefits as stated in project business cases.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, as well as the ability to present information clearly to diverse groups of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have PRINCE2, Agile, or APM certification, experience in Benefits Management, and a broad understanding of Financial Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Portfolio Plan in Wrike
  • Consult with Project Managers on best practice
  • Track and report benefits as stated in project business cases
  • Develop standards for Project reporting, Board packs, and monthly portfolio governance meetings
  • Configure and develop reports through Wrike's dashboards and analyze reporting tool

Requirements:

  • PRINCE2, Agile, or APM certification
  • Experience in Benefits Management
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide insights and tailored recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to present information clearly to diverse groups of stakeholders

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of business change lifecycles
  • Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) systems
  • Working with Agile and LEAN delivery methods
  • Working with Waterfall delivery methodology
  • Broad understanding of Financial Management
  • Experience of a "Best Value" approach to benefits management and realisation
