About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Financial Difficulties team within Credit Risk. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and enhancing our Collections strategy, leveraging data to drive analytical solutions and improve customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the Financial Difficulties collections strategy to ensure optimal customer outcomes.
  • Develop and enhance regular Business As Usual (BAU) Management Information (MI) reporting for Financial Difficulties portfolio performance.
  • Lead a team of analysts to ensure optimal performance and help with their development and career aspirations.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and ensure key controls are developed and monitored to mitigate value stream risks.
Requirements
  • Leadership and communication skills to present key information and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience with data analytics and software packages such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Experience in Collections and Recoveries, with a strong understanding of credit risk systems.
  • Ability to evaluate complex information and make informed decisions.
