The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our Fortem Solutions Ltd team. This role will be hybrid, allowing you to manage your own diary, but you will be expected to travel to any of our branches that may require your assistance.

The Project
Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading the Regional Health, Safety and Environment team and supporting the Director for HSE
  2. Providing cover for the other Regional Manager when required
  3. Preparing and presenting monthly board reports
  4. Organising work activity and prioritisation for the region
  5. Providing guidance and advice to branches to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and company policies
  6. Conducting accident investigations and reporting
  7. Developing tailored training materials
  8. Carrying out staff and trades induction and training

Essential and Desirable Criteria
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

Essential:

  1. NVQ L5 or Diploma in H&S Management
  2. NEBOSH General Certificate
  3. SMTS Certificate
  4. Relevant environmental qualification
  5. Minimum of 3 years relevant sector experience

Desirable:

  1. Membership of a professional institute
  2. NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  3. CISRS Basic Scaffold Inspection
