Job Overview:As a Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of health and safety across our UK projects. Your primary responsibilities will include providing advisory support to site teams, overseeing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Advisory Role: Offer expert guidance to site teams on health and safety matters, particularly in non-PC environments.
- Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS): Manage the creation, review, and approval of RAMS for all projects to ensure safety measures are appropriate and compliant.
- Site Inspections: Regularly visit sites across the UK to assess health and safety conditions, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards.
- Legislation Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant health and safety legislation and ensure that all company operations comply with current regulations.
- Incident Management: Support and advise on any health and safety incidents, ensuring thorough investigations and reporting are carried out.
- Training: Provide training and support to staff, ensuring they are aware of their health and safety responsibilities.
- Travel: You will be required to travel across the UK to various sites, with all travel expenses covered by the company.
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager, ideally within the construction or cladding industry.
- In-depth knowledge of current health and safety regulations, especially in non-PC environments.
- Experience with RAMS management and site safety inspections.
- NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Willingness to travel across the UK.
