Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Crossways Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of health and safety for our construction company, including managing files, certifications, and training modules for staff in the office and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all health and safety files, including certifications and training modules
  • Book updated training courses for existing staff and new employees and maintain files
  • Undertake training of all staff, new and existing, on safety practices and procedures
  • Ensure all manuals are up to date and in order
  • Deal with tenders for new work and complete health and safety sections to ensure compliance, including any certifications
  • Oversee health and safety audits and ensure company compliance in all areas to maintain standards
  • Be knowledgeable and expert on all areas of health and safety in the workplace to ensure all standards are maintained
  • Address all other associated areas of health and safety for the business
  • Manage risk assessments, method statements, incident and accident reporting, and insurance claims
  • Ensure employees are fully trained on policies and procedures to follow and escalate any issues
  • Keep management updated with all areas of the health and safety side of the business
  • Hold NEBOSH and any other health and safety certifications and qualifications
