Furniture Upholsterer Opportunity

The Talent Branch is seeking an experienced Furniture Upholsterer to join our client's expanding business in East London. This is a permanent role that can be full or part-time, offering 20 days paid holiday a year plus Bank holidays.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Upholsterer with at least 5 years of experience in creating patterns for furniture and banquette seating, foaming up frames, and upholstering all types of furniture and seating. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed chesterfield pleating, ribbing, sprung, and webbed seating.

The successful candidate will be capable of working in a team as well as working without supervision to a high standard. Fluency in Polish is not essential but would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating patterns for furniture and banquette seating
  • Foaming up frames and upholstering all types of furniture and seating
  • Creating detailed chesterfield pleating, ribbing, sprung, and webbed seating
  • Quality controlling each project throughout the manufacturing process
  • Working in a team and independently to a high standard
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Upholsterer
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
  • High attention to detail
  • Physical fitness to work on your feet all day and lift loads
