Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Assistant for a young adult with complex care needs.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. As a Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our client in their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Support our client with communication and interaction, using alternative methods such as Eye Gaze communication device and body language
  • Drive our client's adapted vehicle to appointments and participate in leisure activities
  • Work collaboratively with our client's care team to ensure their needs are met
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Full, UK driving licence
  • Complex care experience
  • Ability to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centred way
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards to meet our client's needs
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and a caring and responsible approach
