HMP Altcourse is a male prison with a capacity for 1164 inmates that offers rehabilitation, education and resettlement services. Our Inpatient Unit has 14 beds with a mixture of mental and physical health patients.

Salary

This is a full-time position, offering an annual salary between £42,091.50 and £48,741 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and preventing hospital admissions. You will also shift manage other services on a rotational basis and form part of a senior pool of staff completing complaints/rota management/induction/1-2-1/HR related incidents.

You will provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.

Deliver non-judgmental care that makes a real difference and promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence-based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning.
