Accounts Payable Clerk

Global Accounting Network is partnering with a well-established building services company to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger candidate with some experience in a purchase ledger role to gain valuable experience in a stable Purchase Ledger Job.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and distribute purchase orders to contract support
- Coding and posting invoices to Sage
- Reviewing and resolving invoice queries with relevant teams
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment schedules
- Assisting with payment runs
- Resolving supplier queries
- Vehicle postings and expense coding
- Experience with Evolution / FSI Go
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and conflict management skills
- Financial knowledge and understanding of credits, accruals, and pro-rata
