Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

Global Accounting Network is partnering with a well-respected building services company to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger candidate with some experience in a purchase ledger role to gain valuable experience in a stable Purchase Ledger Job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage purchase ledger transactions, including coding invoices and posting to Sage.
  • Review and resolve invoice queries, liaising with appropriate teams to ensure accuracy.
  • Set up and maintain supplier accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Prepare and manage weekly and monthly payment schedules, assisting with payment runs.
  • Code and process expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Liaise with the fleet administrator to ensure accurate vehicle postings.

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of Evolution / FSI Go.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and conflict management skills.
  • Financial knowledge and understanding of credits, accruals, and pro-rata.
