Resident Care Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator to join our team in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enabling residents to live independently and actively, promoting their wellbeing and quality of life. About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a UK health and social care role, with a passion for working with older adults. A Level 2 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) is an asset, but not mandatory. As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating care and support services, ensuring residents receive the highest level of care and support. You will also assist with light domestic duties, coordinate resident activities, and assist with appointments and shopping. Each day will be diverse, allowing you to make a significant impact on residents' wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate care and support services, ensuring residents receive the highest level of care and support.
- Assist with light domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a comfortable living environment.
- Coordinate resident activities, including outings and social events, to promote engagement and socialisation.
- Assist with appointments and shopping trips, providing transportation and companionship as needed.
