Educational Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Specialist to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with autism in a primary school setting. As an Educational Support Specialist, you will work closely with the class teacher and other professionals to implement individualised support plans designed to meet the pupil's specific needs and encourage their progress.

You will utilize your knowledge of positive strategies and techniques for supporting autistic students to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will foster a strong and trusting relationship with the pupil, promoting their emotional well-being and academic success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience of working with children with autism
