Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening Relief Care and Support Assistant to join our team at Wayfarer Place in New Alresford. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality individual care to our residents, enabling them to live their later life well.
Your duties will include delivering housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans. You will also support and encourage our residents to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing. This may involve helping them to book appointments, arrange transport, and escorting them on visits, as well as assisting with their shopping.
About YouWe are looking for a warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people. You will have a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service and be driven to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.
Previous experience in a care or support environment is ideal, although consideration will be given to candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience. You will be required to have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
