Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Operative to join our team at OCS Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our office areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure that you observe and follow all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and inform your Line Manager of any actions taken or required.
  • Advise and discuss any areas of concern that may affect the quality of service being provided.
  • Complete tasks and help desk tickets to the correct standard and timescale, and notify Administrator to close.
  • Carry out administrative duties as laid down by the company.
  • Understand the work schedule and Service Level Agreement.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are known and strictly adhered to at all times, and wear all PPE issued.

Requirements

  • Good command of English.
  • 1 day IOSHH - Working Safely course.
  • NVQ 1 or above in Cleaning.
  • NVQ Level 1 in Customer Care.

  • Able to achieve standards and targets within given time scales.
  • General understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Sound level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate judgement and discretion when assessing information and issues.
  • Produces quality work within agreed working timescale with ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Team player who shows enthusiasm and uses own initiative.
  • Self-motivated with an eye for attention to detail.
  • Able to direct and motivate a dedicated multiracial workforce, ensuring standards and targets are fully achieved within given time scales.
