Mechanical Design Engineer

ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Winsford. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and design of new products and services.
About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in mechanical design roles. You should have knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to power generation and distribution equipment. The ideal candidate will be working towards Incorporated/Chartered Engineer status and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Competence with using Autodesk CAD software packages is preferable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves providing flexible, robust, efficient, and cost-effective engineering support to our existing products as part of an integrated team. You will conduct failure diagnosis, analysis, and sentencing of problems affecting in-service equipment, including equipment testing as required. Additionally, you will comprehensively report your findings and make recommendations for modifications to maintain capability, reduce costs, or address safety concerns. You will also coordinate with delivery teams and provide direct liaison with customers to understand and resolve equipment support issues.
