Environmental Sustainability Manager

Irwin and Colton, a leading health and safety recruitment company, is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the future of Environment and Sustainability strategies.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking professional to lead initiatives, set agendas, and drive change in our organisation. As an Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for promoting Environment and Sustainability best practice across the organisation, influencing internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining ISO 14001 certifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Environment and Sustainability best practice across the organisation
  • Act as a point of contact for Environment and Sustainability across the framework
  • Maintain ISO 14001 certifications and keep up to date with changes in legislation
  • Monitor business Environment and Sustainability strategy and manage implementation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree-level qualification in an environmental related discipline and ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body. You will also need proven Sustainability experience in a similar role, ideally within the Facilities Management or Property focused environments.
