About the Wildlife Enclosure Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Wildlife Enclosure Manager. This key role involves overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of animal enclosures, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and exhibit quality.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement enclosure designs that meet the unique needs of various species.
  • Work closely with animal care staff to ensure enclosures provide optimal living conditions.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in designing and managing complex animal enclosure projects.
  • Strong understanding of animal behavior, habitat requirements, and welfare considerations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £26,702, 33 days annual leave, and opportunities to develop skills in animal care, exhibit design, and project management.
