Main duties of the job

As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological support to individuals, as well as developing and delivering sessions for teams - online and in person.

You will work closely with the Wellbeing Matters Team to support the development and delivery of the Specialist Psychological Staff Support Service.

As an experienced mental health practitioner, you will direct and supervise junior staff and resources within their area of responsibility and take an active participation in clinical quality assurance and learning programmes.

You will communicate specialised, complex and sensitive information and advice to staff members and other professionals, including information about challenging team dynamics or staff psychological wellbeing needs.

You will work flexibly around working patterns as required, and ability to travel independently between locations in Berkshire to fulfil the requirements and duties of the position.
