We are seeking a qualified Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessments, care planning, and evidence-based psychological interventions to children and adolescents with complex mental health difficulties.
Main Duties of the Job
As a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist, your main duties will include:
- Providing specialist psychological assessments and care planning for children and adolescents with complex mental health difficulties.
- Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, including one-to-one and group treatments.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Providing good clinical supervision and training opportunities to junior staff members.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- HCPC registration as a Psychologist with a doctorate in Counselling or Clinical Psychology.
- Previous leadership or managerial experience.
- Experience working in a mental health service.
- Experience of delivering agreed service targets and effective time management in a busy and demanding environment.
