About the Role

Longhurst Group, a leading housing provider in the Midlands and East of England, is seeking an experienced surveyor to undertake housing stock surveys, complete stock condition reports, and provide data-driven insights for business improvement.

This role offers a competitive salary, including £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive 28 days' annual leave entitlement, car allowance, pension scheme, life cover, and access to discounts, financial education, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately collect data for regulatory and legislative asset requirements, including condition, performance, safety, and energy data.
  • Identify and report building defects, liaising with internal and external teams for issue resolution.
  • Complete Decent Homes / HHSRS surveys.
  • Improve data quality, scheduling diary entries for optimal productivity.
  • Deliver customer-focused services, ensuring professional and timely responses to enquiries.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background in building regulations and practices, with IT skills and experience in home inspections and assessments.

Vetting Requirements

The role is conditional upon receipt of satisfactory references, proof of eligibility to work in the UK, and completion of pre-employment checks.
