Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with communication and language difficulties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and clinical role, working with children and young people to identify and address communication and language needs.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualised management plans to support children and young people in achieving their communication and language goals.
  • Collaborate with education, local authority, medical and nursing staff to ensure delivery of a coordinated integrated service.
  • Contribute to and deliver training to schools and early years settings, parents, children and young people, as part of therapy support and delivery.

Requirements
  • Be a qualified Speech & Language Therapist.
  • HCPC registration.
  • An enthusiasm for working with early years and school aged children and young people.
  • Full UK driving license with access to vehicle.
