About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neurologist to join our team at The New Foscote Hospital. As a senior colleague, you will work closely with other clinical, medical professional, and managerial colleagues to provide high-quality healthcare to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead on the development of Neuro-Spinal services.
  • Deliver high-quality care for all patients and support the smooth running of the service.
  • Support efficient management of resources and maintenance of our short waiting lists for private and insured patients.
  • Take ownership in the successful performance against key performance indicators, ensuring zero compromise to the quality of care or clinical excellence for patients.
  • Provide on-site clinical expertise as and when needed, supporting MDTs as required.

Requirements

  • CCT in Neurology or Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register in Neurology or Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Currently employed, or has previously held substantive NHS consultant post
  • Eligible to register with private medical insurance companies (BUPA, AXA-PPP etc)
  • Able to take responsibility for delivering the service without direct supervision
