About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurologist to join our team at The New Foscote Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for leading the development of outpatient Neurological services and supporting the ongoing treatment and rehabilitation of our neuro and spinal patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care for private patients at our two hospital sites, The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital in Aylesbury and The New Foscote Hospital in Banbury.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Neurological services, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless care and support.
  • Take ownership of resource management and maintenance of our short waiting lists for private and insured patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality standards and improvement initiatives throughout the department.
Requirements
  • CCT in Neurology or Rehabilitation Medicine.
  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register in Neurology or Rehabilitation Medicine.
  • Currently employed or previously held a substantive NHS consultant post.
  • Eligible to register with private medical insurance companies.
  • Able to take responsibility for delivering the service without direct supervision.
