Job Overview

We are seeking a Reading Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving reading progress across the school and community. Key responsibilities include establishing a beautiful library, managing and maintaining library resources, and providing reading interventions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish a welcoming climate in the library and across the school
  2. Manage and maintain library resources, including books, digital media, and other materials
  3. Teach pupils how to use the library successfully and promote a love of reading
  4. Provide reading interventions to support pupils outside of class and after school
  5. Work closely with teachers to develop curriculum resources and ensure a diverse and inclusive reading offer
About the Role

This is a permanent position directly employed by the school. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about reading and education.
