We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team in the Catheter Suite at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide world-class care to patients undergoing interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Act as a skilled practitioner and clinical leader, providing support to the senior nursing team and coordinating a shift effectively.
- Ensure the delivery and evaluation of nursing care for patients, adhering to IRMER compliance and radiation protection guidelines.
- Participate in the Cath Lab on-call rota for Primary PCI and stroke thrombectomy.
- Liaise with nursing staff in other departments to coordinate patient care within the Catheter Suite.
- Maintain accurate and concise nursing records, ensuring that careful and thorough documentation is completed.
- Current valid UK NMC registration.
- Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cardiac catheterisation and interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate a team effectively.
- Ability to scrub as a second operator during specific diagnostic and interventional procedures.
