Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Electrical and Mechanical Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - Electrical and Mechanical Expert to join our team at HR Employment Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, including production machinery and facilities.
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostics to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Deliver scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Install and upgrade electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting and office equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Assist in the creation and review of Planned Preventive Maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation and guidance, including BS7678:2018 and Health and Safety at Work etc. Act, 1974.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 City and Guilds 2365 Electrotechnical Craft or similar qualification.
  • City and Guilds 2365 (Edition, Second amendment).
  • NVQ/ONC/HNC or additional relevant qualification.
  • Relevant industrial electrical experience.
  • Time served apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing/plant environment – desirable.
  • Proven delivery on design and project work – desirable.
