This is a challenging and rewarding role for a Senior Forensic Psychologist to join our team at the Ministry of Justice. As a key member of our Psychology Services, you will be responsible for providing expert psychological advice and support to our staff and prisoners.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct complex risk assessments of prisoners and develop strategies to reduce the risk of harm and re-offending.
- Provide consultancy and training to staff on psychology-related topics.
- Lead and supervise a team of Forensic Psychologists in Training.
- Develop and implement psychology services across all sites, including HMYOIs Feltham, Wetherby, and Oakhill Secure Training Centre.
- Collaborate with NHS England on the delivery of the SECURE STAIRS framework for integrated care.
- Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Eligible to use a protected title.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision and training.
- Completed relevant training in effective models of treatment and best practice.
