Job Summary

As a Clinical Specialist - MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard, and ensuring excellent patient care at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard.
  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for relevant departments participating in patients' pre-admission and follow-up care.
  • Support the implementation of national developments locally.
  • Maintain CHG Physiotherapy accreditation.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in physiotherapy through relevant courses and a personal portfolio.
Requirements
  • Chartered Physiotherapist.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Degree level educated.
  • Minimum of 2 years qualified.
  • Experience in hand therapy or interest in developing hand therapy and basic splinting skills.
