Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with additional learning needs, helping them overcome challenges and thrive academically and socially.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position at an inclusive primary school in Oxford. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored assistance to students, helping them engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
Responsibilities- Providing 1:1 support for students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Assisting teachers with planning and delivering tailored learning experiences for students in need of extra support.
- Encouraging positive behavior and promoting social and emotional development in the classroom.
- Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
- A passion for working with children and supporting those with additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A clear DBS check.
- Legal right to work within the UK.
