Warhead Engineering Team Leader

We are currently looking for a Warhead Engineering Team Leader to join our Surety Technology Team at AWE Plc. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of warhead engineers in designing, manufacturing, and testing warhead components and sub-systems.
The successful candidate will have experience in electronic systems and systems engineering integration, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. You will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide your team members towards achieving their goals.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of business requirements and be able to apply your own judgment and discretion in decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of warhead engineers in designing, manufacturing, and testing warhead components and sub-systems.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts within the team and beyond to provide expert knowledge and technical expertise in the field of technical specialism.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.
