Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineering team and drive the delivery of custom-built equipment projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing the design, development, and delivery of custom capital equipment tailored to meet client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
- Manage bespoke projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Mentor and develop a team of skilled engineers, building a supportive and high-performing work environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, and sales teams to align engineering efforts with broader business goals.
- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective and timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Leadership expertise: Proven track record in leading teams and driving cultural change in an engineering environment.
- Commercial acumen: Strong understanding of business and market dynamics, ensuring engineering efforts align with profitability and customer needs.
- Technical know-how: Extensive experience in engineering, including bespoke equipment design and manufacturing processes.
- Project management skills: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies to keep projects on track.
- Software proficiency: Hands-on experience with engineering software and design tools (e.g., CAD, PLM systems).
