About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Submarine Safety Engineering Consultant to join our team at BMT. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical safety support and subject matter advice to a wide range of current and future submarine and underwater system related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical safety support and subject matter advice to submarine and underwater system related projects
  • Support the delivery of safety projects to schedule, quality, and budget
  • Develop and manage hazard logs, support and facilitate HAZID and hazard review meetings, and author safety assessment/safety case reports
  • Provide justification of the ALARP status of products and ensure compliance with statutory safety legislation
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, presenting professionally both verbally and in writing
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience of submarine operations and equipment, preferably with knowledge of technical documentation and safety requirements. You will also have excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work well in a team.
