Electrical Installation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our projects department at Senseco Systems Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of high-end fire alarm systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of high-end fire alarm systems, adhering to all relevant engineering practices and reporting any inconsistencies to a senior engineer or line manager.
  • Complete electronic worksheets, timesheets, and mileage/expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in health and safety training to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Escalate any delays or difficulties encountered, such as traffic delays or vehicle problems, to the supervisor or senior engineer.
  • Update site logbooks with details of all work carried out while on site.
  • Maintain company-issued equipment in good condition and report any damaged, stolen, or missing equipment to the Service Supervisor.
  • Ensure good timekeeping and housekeeping at all times.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company employee handbook.
  • Develop effective client relationships and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Attend training courses to extend knowledge and skillset of various manufacturers' products.
  • Test completed circuits and understand and adhere to CAD drawings.
  • Make decisions on cable routes and work at heights, with training provided.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate with both external and internal customers in a professional and consistent manner.
  • Installation experience and computer literacy, with good general IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies, with good organisational and time management skills.
