Electrical Installation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our projects department at Senseco Systems Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of high-end fire alarm systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of high-end fire alarm systems, adhering to all relevant engineering practices and reporting any inconsistencies to a senior engineer or line manager.
  • Complete electronic worksheets, timesheets, and mileage/expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in health and safety training to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all company issued equipment is maintained in good condition and report any damaged, stolen, or missing equipment to the Service Supervisor.
  • Adhere to good timekeeping and housekeeping practices at all times.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company employee handbook.
  • Develop effective client relationships and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Attend training courses to extend knowledge and skillset of various manufacturers' products.
  • Test completed circuits to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Understand and adhere to CAD drawings, making decisions on cable routes as necessary.
  • The role will involve some working at heights, with training provided.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal customers.
  • Installation experience and knowledge of high-end fire alarm systems.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
