About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a child with moderate SEN needs in a mixed ability class. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with ASD and be able to provide a structured and stimulating learning environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to lead interventions and create engaging learning resources. They will also be responsible for setting up and tidying up at the start and end of lessons.

Requirements:
  • Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of PECS or non-verbal communication strategies
