As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will lead and perform Mental Health Act Assessments within a rolling rota shift pattern, triaging incoming cases and ensuring a timely, legally compliant response to assessment requests. You will work closely with Crisis Teams, Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB), general acute hospitals, and other agencies to deliver high-quality mental health interventions.

- AMHP Authorization: You must currently be authorized as an AMHP with significant experience in conducting MHA assessments.
- Team Player & Leader: You'll need the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with the skills to lead, supervise, and mentor colleagues.
- Adaptability: The role operates on a rolling rota outside of traditional office hours, so flexibility and resilience are key.
