We are currently seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Chesterfield area of Derbyshire.

Our practice is purpose-built, offering excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. As a Veterinary Surgeon with us, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied caseload, rotating through surgery and consulting days.

Job Description

This role offers an exciting full-time opportunity, working 40 hours per week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota and no out-of-hours commitments. You will be expected to be confident in small animal medicine and surgery, with experience in routine and emergency procedures.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in a supportive and friendly environment. Our team of 4 veterinarians offers a collaborative and sociable working atmosphere.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is £70,000.00 (subject to experience). In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a generous CPD allowance, paid professional fees, and exclusive rewards and discounts.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification. Registration with the RCVS is also essential.
